Turmeric Oatmeal

I almost feel sorry for calling this a recipe because it really is that simple but maybe it’s an inspiration for some of you guys to integrate turmeric into your diet a little bit more often (I mentioned the health benefits of spices in another blogpost)

Adding very aromatic spices like turmeric might be suprising at the first bite but I am sure you’ll love it more and more spoon by spoon 🙂

So here we go with the no recipe – recipe…

Recipe  Inspiration:

Ingredients 

1 cup oats (I use gluten free oats)

1 tsp coconut blossom sugar

macadamia nut milk (or any milk you prefer)

1 heaped teaspoonful turmeric latte spice  (If you don’t have a turmeric latte spice mixture you can use turmeric oc but make sure to add pepper because black pepper enhances the bioavailability of turmeric immensely!)

Toppings of choice: nut butter, fresh and dried fruit, chocolate, spices like cinnamon etc.

I used pumpkin seed butter * (which I put on literally everything), fresh figs, dried baby figs and walnuts (both by Koro.Drogerie), kiwi and kiwi berries plus hempseed.

This seriously was such a feast !
